The Kodály Approach

Zoltan Kodály

The trainings are based on the methodology of the Hungarian composer Zoltán Kodály (1882 – 1967) who established a set of principles to follow in music education.

His approach is based on traditional folk songs, games and rhymes of every culture that have lasted for many years. These songs are easy to sing and fit in with a child’s limited vocal range.

He believed that music was for everyone, and that it was the birth right of every child to be able to express themselves through singing.
